Chocolate Wars

In  every part of life there is a little adventure. This morning our adventure took a chocolate turn. Unloading our car from a trip to Spokane WA, the first thing that hit me was a wave of chocolate aroma. The smell penetrated the air slowly, overtaking the ozone left by the morning rain. Next I'm hit with blackberry and raspberry tones; the essences swirl though the open chocolate currents. The power of the chocolate actually ignites the still waking energy within me and guides me into action. The car is now empty, ready for its next assignment: bringing a large wagon, 10 pounds of flour and empty milk jug to 4th grade covered wagon expedition to the park.
